SPACE RESEARCH
Welcome to the Space Research section of China-U.S. Dialogue on Space. This portion of the website endeavors to be a comprehensive resource on issues of space security relevant to the relationship between the United States and China. Both countries are covered in depth, but we focus on providing information that is key to mutual understanding and the promotion of meaningful dialogue.

The issues surrounding space security are complex. Important pieces of information are often located across different agencies, departments, industries, and in our case, different governments. In order to aid both novices and experts in their research, we have compiled Issue Briefs that will serve as guideposts to organize and highlight the salient issues and questions of space security in the China-U.S. relationship.

Some information, especially regarding military activities in space, is sensitive or otherwise inaccessible. This webpage relies solely on the open literature that is available through unclassified sources. Our goal is to foster more open communication, knowledge and understanding between China and the United in order to promote peace and security in space.
